Socorro’s practice covers a wide and diverse range, including general corporate and business matters, entity formation, negotiating and drafting for the purchase, sale or leasing of assets, estate planning and probate, employment and human resource issues, energy and oil and gas, as well as commercial litigation and trial practice.
Socorro was born in Arizona and with her father serving the United States Air Force, lived and grew up all over the globe as her family moved from base to base. Her formative years were spent on bases in Germany and the Netherlands. Her upbringing, travels and exposure to different cultures, people and environments has served her well as she assists clients in navigating through their legal issues. Moreover, her unconventional path to a Member of Perri Dunn PLLC has provided her a unique and insightful perspective on the practice of law.
Socorro began her legal career as a paralegal for mid-large size law firms in Oklahoma City. As a paralegal, she assisted in the preparation of several matters for bench and jury trial, including a month-long jury trial in Western Oklahoma. While working full-time as a paralegal, Socorro completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and enrolled in law school in 2012. While in law school, Socorro was a member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and served as Staff Editor from 2014 – 2016.
